Florida man, woman facing drug charges in separate incidents

Because each legal situation is different, individuals who have been accused of criminal activity may want to learn more about their particular cases. Two individuals in Florida may be hoping to gain more knowledge on their predicaments after they were taken into custody on drug charges in separate incidents. One individual was a 28-year-old woman, and the other was a 26-year-old man.

Reports stated that police were working in an area as they were investigating drug sales. During their investigation, the woman purportedly sold a narcotic to an undercover officer. Details on how the woman and the officer came into contact were not given in the report. Nonetheless, she was taken into custody and held without bond.

In the second incident, the man had apparently been stopped by police for a traffic violation. During the stop, a K-9 unit was utilized, and the dog supposedly indicated to officers that it detected narcotics in the vehicle. Police apparently searched the vehicle and found drug paraphernalia and a substance that purportedly tested positive for methamphetamine. He was taken into custody and held on a $2,012 bond.

As these individuals face their legal cases, they may want to determine what options they have for handling the drug charges brought against them. They may wish to consider creating and presenting a criminal defense in order to combat the allegations. Information on Florida criminal proceedings may help them learn more about what to possibly expect as their cases move forward and allow them to make informed decisions about the progress of their cases.
