Florida man facing felony charges after alleged incident

Some individuals may perform certain acts as part of a joke or prank. However, pranks can sometimes go too far, and an individual could wind up facing felony charges. One man in Florida is currently facing charges after he was allegedly involved in an incident at a local fast food restaurant.

Reports stated that the 24-year-old man allegedly drove to the drive-thru window at fast food restaurant and tossed an alligator through the window. The alligator was reported as being over three feet long. After throwing the animal through the window, the man purportedly drove away. The alleged incident did not result in any injuries, and the alligator was taken by a wildlife officer who released it back into the wild.

The man was recently taken into custody on charges relating to the incident. He reportedly claimed to have found the alligator by the side of the road. As a result of the situation, he is currently facing a charge for assault with a deadly weapon, and because he was in possession of the alligator, he is also facing a felony charge for that alleged offense. He was released from custody on a $6,000 bond.

Felony charges could cause the man to face a serious criminal record if he is convicted. Therefore, he may wish to find out more information on his legal options that could potentially help him handle his case. Gaining more knowledge on Florida criminal proceedings and the charges leveled against him would allow him to determine what feasible courses of action he feels most comfortable pursuing.
