Florida man facing domestic violence charge after alleged event

Creating and presenting a defense against allegations is often an option accused individuals want to utilize. It was reported that the man was allegedly involved in an altercation with a woman at his place of residence. It was unclear how authorities became alerted to the purported event.

Reports stated that the man allegedly hit the woman in the eye with his fist multiple times before pushing her toward the floor in a bathroom. The purported shove reportedly resulted in the woman hitting her head. Authorities also stated that the woman was held by the arm and had injuries to her neck. It was unclear what type of injuries the woman may have suffered.

The man was apparently taken into custody, and he is currently facing charges for domestic violence with strangulation. At the time of the report, he was being held in a county jail, and there had been no bond set. It was not stated when the man may have an initial court appearance to formally hear the charges brought against him.
