Florida woman accused of domestic violence

Domestic violence is a serious allegation that sometimes results when a disagreement at home gets out of hand. Because these situations can vary in severity, an accused individual could be at risk of differing levels of consequences if they are convicted of charges. As a result, individuals accused of having been involved in a domestic violence incident will want to focus on the best manner in which to handle their cases.

One woman in Florida may be looking into her legal options after recently being taken into custody. Reports stated that the woman was allegedly involved in an argument with her husband, presumably at their home. The woman purportedly suspected that the man was having an affair and wanted to confront him about it.

She reportedly told the man to sit on the couch and allegedly stated that she was going to hurt him. She purportedly had a gun at the time of the incident. It was also alleged that the woman shot her husband in the knee and that the bullet traveled to another part of his body. As a result, she was taken into custody and is facing domestic violence charges of aggravated assault and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.

The charges filed against the woman warrant serious consideration.
