Florida men taken into custody on theft charges

Three individuals recently taken into custody in Florida may soon be exploring their legal options. Reports stated that the men were accused of having involvement in a theft ring revolving around iPhones. Each man is facing his own set of charges, and as a result, the men will likely want to determine which legal routes may be best for themselves.

The situation reportedly began when an informant told police about a potential theft that was schedule to take place. The informant had allegedly been approached by one of the men to drive a cargo truck with the stolen merchandise. An investigation apparently took place, and the man who approached the informant as well as two other individuals were taken into custody in relation to the alleged theft.

A 35-year-old man is currently facing charges for dealing in stolen property after purportedly stating that he was going to sell the stolen phones. A 34-year-old man has been charged with petty theft, criminal mischief and two other allegations. The third man was reported as being 53 years old, and he is facing charges of grand theft cargo, petty theft, criminal mischief and tampering with evidence.

Though the men were arrested in relation to the same alleged incident, they will likely wish to follow their own individual paths when it comes to their legal cases. If any or all of the men wish to combat the charges leveled against them, information on criminal defense strategies may be useful to them. Additionally, consulting with their individual legal counsel may help them better understand Florida criminal proceedings relating to the theft charges and other allegations they face.
